Therapeutic Approach

I take an approach that focuses on the therapeutic relationship. I want to ensure the whole person is seen rather than just isolating individual pieces. I have a desire to do life with my clients. I want to build a foundation of trust, safety, and support before we take steps to break down whatever is weighing on you. The things we deem as "little" in our lives can have just as much impact as the major life events. I want to provide space for both in my office when working with an individual.

My Journey

I started my journey with counseling from the side of the client. After spending years pouring my heart out to various counselors, I realized I wanted to be one. I wanted the opportunity to sit with people in their most vulnerable places, truly see them, accept them for who they are and offer hope for something more. I wanted to be able to teach skills and help others find purpose in the mundane of life.
