Therapeutic Approach

My approach involves helping clients become more aware of their emotions as we explore how their presenting struggles may affect dynamics and roles in other areas of their lives. We will work together to create awareness of what is causing stress in the present moment while also exploring historical communication patterns and relationship issues to foster greater personal accountability and positive change.

Treatment Issues

Conflict resolution, communication skills, life transitions, work-life balance, coping skills, stress management, emotion regulation, grief and loss, depression, family conflicts and relationship issues

Treatment Population

I work with adult individuals and couples with a special emphasis on first responders.

My Journey

My first experience with psychology was an elective class in high school. When I arrived in Johnson City to attend ETSU, I wanted to continue studying what I loved so much about that class. Now as I complete my coursework in counseling at CCU, I am able to take advantage of my drive to help others in the way that I know best: counseling. I was born and raised in Chattanooga, and as I continue my education, my goal is to help as many people as possible in the city I love most.
