Therapeutic Approach

My approach is client-centered. I focus on the client first and foremost; their strengths, needs, struggles, and wishes. We work together to identify clear goals for counseling. I provide support and educated, experienced guidance in a relaxed, kind, and intentional manner. My clients describe me as easy to talk to and a good listener. They also say that I challenge them in new ways of thinking that change their perspectives. It is a privilege for me to be part of this intersection in my clients' lives.

Treatment Issues

Adjustment, anger, ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, grief/loss, parenting struggles, relationships issues, and trauma are areas in which I am a skilled provider.

Treatment Population

I provide counseling to adults and adolescents (ages 15+).

My Journey

Life is about connection. Since childhood, I have wanted to learn how to connect with people better. The key to connection is understanding, so i set out on a journey to learn about people, their needs, how they think, and how they function. In listening and living life with others, I have gained much understanding, and I continue to learn from everyone I meet, including my clients.

I have lived in both survival mode and thrive mode, and I can definitely say that thrive mode is so much better. I find that most clients I meet are in survival mode and that they, too, desire to thrive. I've been there, and I believe that we can work together to help you thrive, too!
