Therapeutic Approach

I want to honor your courage for reaching out for help as you journey towards abundant living. I will handle your story, pains, and fears with gentleness and humility. I will work to create an atmosphere of trust and openness so you will feel comfortable pressing in to do the necessary work to move towards change. The main approaches I draw from are family systems, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I utilize interventions from other therapies as needed.

Treatment Issues

Relationship difficulties, sexual issues, premarital/pre-engagement, depression, anxiety, emotional challenges from pregnancy and pregnancy loss, grief and loss, women’s issues, adjustment and life transitions.

Treatment Population

I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families

My Journey

I have spent many years walking alongside individuals as they trudged through the muck and mire of life’s hardships. I’ve worked in youth ministry, community outreach, and a pregnancy care center. In my personal life, I’ve been blessed with supportive, trustworthy people who have seen me through many trials. Their example taught me the ministry of “getting in the trenches” with people.
