Parenting, relationships, coping, behavior, anxiety, suicide, abuse, bullying, ADHD, PTSD, adjustment, and grief
I provide play therapy for children three years and older as well as counseling for couples, families, and adults. I have 14 years experience working with children in foster care, grief counseling, and counseling couples, families, and individuals. I also offer a 6-week parenting class, including a certificate.
Just as my sons were beginning their college careers when I was 47, I returned to college with the goal of being a hospice social worker. I graduated with my master's degree when I was 54 and I have worked full-time for hospice since that time. I also enjoy working as a therapist at NBCC in the evenings. My Christian faith and my own journey as a client in therapy have been greatly influential in my life.
